Being a workign mother can lead to some pretty crazy days, but it's not just something I do .... it's my lifestyle and I've adaped to it. Just like all mom's do. We sacrifice many things on a daily basis; our sleep, our health and even our family time. One of the biggest challenges I’ve had as a working mother has been staying organized and on top of everything. I wanted to share with you some of the apps on my phone that help keep life oraganized and on track!

I've talked to some other hard working moms as well, as together we've compiled a list of the best-apps for your day-to-day needs ..... they aren't just apps about kids either. There are apps for finances, health, productivey and so much more!

Enjoy, and comment on this blog post and let me know if I missed something important!

  1. If you’re anything like me, going grocery shopping is probably your least favourite thing. It’s hard to take the time to really scope out the best deals and you usually end up spending more money than necessary. With Checkout 51 you can earn cashback when you buy your favourite brands!
  2. Next up is the PC Plus Program. If you like to earn free money, this is your app. Everytime you shop you earn points (the deals change each week based on your shopping habits) and every time you reach 20,000 points you earn $20.00. I know some people who use them up right away, and others who will save them for the enitre year and then put them towards Christmas shopping. Either way, free money for buying the things you would buy anyway is pretty cool in my books!
  3. Last minute meeting and no babysitter? We’ve all been there! UrbanSitter helps you find an available, reliable, trustworthy sitter in your proximity, allowing you call or message them directly from the app.
  4. Keep your finances in check and never miss a bill again with Mint. When we’re in a hurry we can sometimes overlook what we spend in a day, maybe even a month. Stay on financial track with this app!
  5. Feeding your Kids. It will encourage you to teach healthy eating behavior to your kids by making you more aware of what you feed them. Offers ideas, referrals, recipes, tools and inspiration to improve the quality of your kids’ consumption and nutrition.
  6. And lastly - if you need an easy way to manage your pictures and share them with your firends and family, Instagram is the way to go!

There you have it ladies ..... simple apps to help with the day-to-day!
